I bought the lamp as a bedside light because I had already had the same type before, but with halogen bulbs. Since one of the lights stopped working at temperatures below 19°C, I bought the same lights with LED bulbs. I like that the lights are dimmable. However, with LED, the levels are not as clearly distinct as with the halogen bulbs. Nevertheless, I recommend them. But lamps are a matter of personal taste.
